PolyKarbon
Comic,
Manga Tutorials, and Photoshop Tips
Polykarbon
has been one of my most visited sites for the past two years.
It has excellent manga art tutorials, advanced photoshop techniques,
helpful links to online manga material stores, his own online
store for some cool PK Tshirts, coffee mugs, mousepads, etc.
A library of books to look for regarding manga and comics, a
widely growing EZBoard BBS, and a gallery of PK artwork. Owned
by Pat Shettlesworth.
Julie
Dillon's DayDreamer (formerly Solace)
Julie
Dillon recently discredited herself of her overcrowded Ezboard
BBS (a very wise decision) and left hosting duties of her extra-helpful
drawing tutorials to the How To Draw Manga site. Then she changed
the name from Solace to DayDreamer. I haven't been here since
just recently, but it looks as if her gallery is all that remains,
and that's a GOOD thing.
Studio
XD
This
a proffessional artists crew That do some absolutely incredible
artwork. I stumbled upon Locke's site last year, and Saka's site
shortly after, long before I even realized they had anything
in common. So after finding Studio XD, I discovered the art of
Long Vo and Charles Park. "Lanzer" hosts the websites
of Saka, Long Vo, and Charles Park. I'll try getting all the
banners, but currently Charles Park, "Lanzer," and
"Saka" do not have an active banner to use. Neither
does Studio XD, so they'll all be in text links. I don't wanna
email them about banners, though, because that's just plain rude.

Comics
These
are my favorite online comics, and I've read every strip available
to date. Some of these are pretty adult, but all of them are
hilarious. *NEW* PolyKarbon's been
soliciting a couple of of his co-worker's online comic called
Random Frog Children. Niiiiice.

Boards
There
are several BBS' that I'm a member of, and then there are board's
I'm an administrator at (Kizoku no Idiots). PoyKarbonBBS is where
I was first introduced to the EZBoard communities. After failing
at making my own BBS, I joined up with the Dogfuchow, and we
created Kizoku no Idiots BBS (whose motto is "Genuine Stupidity
for Free"). "Keeping This Folder on Top" was a
shoot-off from a large (SPAM) topic on Polykarbon of the same
name, now owned by Polykarbon moderator (and KnI poster) SpikesCafe.
NightShade is a slick looking board owned by Phantasm Espiritu
that involves a largely literary member base. I'll update more
with how many boards I join.
